The Rites of Passage address our concerns about the noticeable
lack of self-esteem, self-image, and the lack of positive
experience
among a majority of youth. “Rites of Passage”
is literally a permission, or right, or chance to move to
a higher level of human, social, and educational development.
That permission, right, or chance is granted by the community
or society and signi? es the successful
completion of a developmental process and the earning of respect
of the community for having done so.
